WeWork Business Plan
Here is my thought process and I hope you can follow along…Starbucks owns more land than most countries…With all the names for drinks and sizes is it too far of a stretch to say they have their own language? Land, Language and Culture as far as I am Concerned Starbucks is a country and you are the Ambassador.
I am willing to bet that if you were lost in another country anywhere in the world you would feel better at a “Starbucks than a US Embassy.” I remember hearing Malcolm Gladwell in a radio interview talk about a research study coffee on how it helps build rapport and create a more positive association. Looking at the definition above do you think you have set yourself up to be the Ambassador of your local Starbucks?
Setting yourself up as a Starbucks Ambassador
Buy drinks for Customers, Staff and Employees. I like to purchase a $20.00 gift card and let them buy drinks for people on the line until the line is full.
Register your Starbucks card online and at some point you will earn a Starbucks Gold Card. For some reason Starbucks employees are train to treat people with Gold Cards better. There are benefits to being a Gold member but my advice to you is don’t spend a moment counting rewards. I see it all the time people are so worry about all the free rewards and deals and as a Starbuck Startup this can be very costly. And Remember to Beware of the offer… Click Here!!!
Order a drink of your choice…This is what I do I go up to the Barista and say I would like Coffee of your choice or tea of your choice 9 times outta 10 they pause and smile. This idea is a good report builder they are trained on different drinks and they never really get to talk about it with any customers this idea will get in into the inner circle and make the starbucks your exclusive club.
Move with the Ambassador Confidence and Swagger…Be the self appointed guy to answer any questions for customers or employees. lots of time the customers and the Starbucks employees are rushing and you are there to Organize the Chaos.
